Project description:
To reconstruct the history of species-rich forest-steppe ecosystems in East-Central Europe based on a multi-proxy palaeoecological analysis and synthesis of vegetation data. To test the hypothesis of their Holocene continuity and identify the main drivers of their dynamics.
