In my works I focus on ecosystem ecology.  I’m interested in successional processes in natural communities and post-industrial sites. In my research I also focus on interactions between plants, herbivores and predators (Tri-trophic interactions) in relation to abiotic environmental conditions.

I apply modern statistical analysis in R program (e.g. modelling of functional diversity and redundancy depending in the environmental gradients and the creation and application of null models in biology).
